WATCH: Alabama football wraps up its game-week prep for Tennessee Volunteers

Alabama football is going after its fifth win of the season.

After a huge victory over Georgia, it will travel to Neyland Stadium (Knoxville, Tenn.) to face the Tennessee Volunteers on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS. With the Vols entering at 2-2, Jeremy Pruitt looks to get his team back on track.

During Wednesday’s practice, the cameras for Alabama Athletics featured the quarterbacks, wide receivers, outside linebackers and defensive linemen at work. Listed below are a few scout team notes from yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine.

Scout team notes from Wednesday

-A couple of receivers wore Nos. 5, 80 and 11 to represent Josh Palmer, Ramel Keyton and Velus Jones of Tennessee.

-Palmer, a senior, is the leading receiver for the Vols with 238 yards and three touchdowns on 15 catches.

-Kevin Harris II wore No. 13 for Deandre Johnson, an outside linebacker for Tennessee.

-Johnson, a senior, has 12 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks (team-high), one quarterback hurry and one forced fumble.

-Alabama had another OLB wear No. 95, to represent Kivon Bennett of the Volunteers.

-The junior has 14 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 0.5 sacks and two quarterback hurries.

-On the defensive line, Braylen Ingraham wore No 88 for Latrell Bumphus of the Vols.

-The senior defensive lineman has 12 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack and one quarterback hurry.

-One player for Alabama wore No. 51, to represent DL Elijah Simmons of Tennessee.

-Another Tide player wore No. 79 for DL Kurott Garland of the Volunteers.
