Alabama football extended an offer to 4-Star defensive back, Myles Rowser on Oct. 16.

Rowser is a product of Belleville High School in Belleville, Michigan, which is the same school Alabama’s 2021 5-Star defensive tackle commit, Damon Payne attends. The Crimson Tide are the 25th D1 program to extend an offer to the Michigan product. The junior prospect expressed to Touchdown Alabama, that he felt Alabama’s offer was a result of hard work.
“I was excited,” Rowser said. “I have been working hard and Alabama is one of the best of the best schools, on and off the field.”
The 4-Star defensive back has kept a close eye on Alabama football throughout the last couple of years. With Nick Saban at the forefront, it is no secret that Alabama football continues to be one of the premiere college football programs in the country. According to Rowser, the Tide’s success is by design.
“It is not by mistake,” Rowser added. “They recruit the best and execute. Nick Saban is the GOAT and I hope he is there in 2022. I will love to learn from him”
Alabama’s running back coach and Michigan area recruiter Charles Huff informed Rowser of his offer. His ‘execution and aggression’ were among the things Rowser said Huff liked about his game. As a defensive back for Belleville, Rowser plays all over the secondary.
The Michigan product has recorded 45 tackles, two interceptions and six pass deflections through six games for the Tigers. At 6-1 and 185 pounds, Rowser is very active in the secondary and is willing to come downhill to help in run support.

Alabama football currently has two 2022 recruits verbally committed and are continuing to extend new offers. Rowser is one of the top defensive backs in the 2022 recruiting class and the Tide’s coaching staff is expected to continue building a relationship with him.
