Alabama running back Trey Sanders was involved in a car accident Friday morning according to a statement from head coach Nick Saban.
Sanders is currently in stable condition and does not have any life-threatening injuries.
Below is Saban’s statement:
“Trey Sanders was involved in a car accident this morning and is in stable condition after sustaining non-life threatening injuries. We are in direct contact with his family and the physicians that are treating him as we continue to gather more information.”
The redshirt freshman has rushed for 130 yards on 30 carries so far in 2020 and is coming off a career-high in 80 rushing yards against Mississippi State last week.
