We have a new top-ranked program in college football.
With the Clemson Tigers losing to Notre Dame by a score of 40-47 in overtime last week, the University of Alabama opens this week as the No. 1 team in the country. An announcement came from the Associated Press as the outlet updated its Top-25 rankings. The Crimson Tide were off last week, but it now prepares to face Louisiana State University on Saturday.
Alabama is undefeated through six games, including victories over a pair of top-10 schools before last week.

Nick Saban is going after his seventh national championship as a head coach, and Mac Jones wants to show all critics he can deliver the team to a national title.
