Alabama head coach Nick Saban has tested positive for COVID-19 and has mild symptoms according to a release from UA.
Below is a statement from Dr. Jimmy Robinson and Jeff Allen:
“This morning we received notification that Coach Saban tested positive for COVID-19. He has very mild symptoms, so this test will not be categorized as a potential false positive. He will follow all appropriate guidelines and isolate at home.”
Offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian will once again be the man to take up the head coaching responsibilities for the game against Auburn this Saturday.
Saban also shared some of his symptoms during his Wednesday teleconference mentioning that he didn’t have anything significant.
“Just a little bit of a runny nose. But nothing really. I feel fine,” Saban said. “I don’t really have anything significant. I don’t have a fever or any of the tests they’ve attempted to do. I don’t really have anything of significance.”
