DeVonta Smith is having a senior season for the ages. After another stellar performance, this time on the biggest stage in the annual Iron Bowl, Smith’s numbers are not only worthy of the Fred Biletnikoff Award, but Heisman consideration as well.
So far, Smith boasts receiving numbers of 72 catches, 1,074 yards and 12 touchdowns. In the loss of Jaylen Waddle seemingly for the season, Smith has elevated his game to the highest order, which warranted a tribute song in his honor.
For the past two seasons, Touchdown Alabama has ventured into the parody music business with several hits, and the latest featuring Smith, got his seal of approval. Over the instrumental of fellow Louisiana native, Hurricane Chris’ “Ay Bay Bay,” “Ay Tay Tay” was born.
