Alabama’s 4-Star wide receiver commit, Christian Leary made it clear that he is not de-committing from Alabama football.
Leary tweeted Thursday that he ‘can’t relate’ to recruits, who are de-comitting.
dang everybody de-committing , can’t relate 🤣 #RollTide 🐘

This was in response to the many recruits, who recently de-committed. A large amount of de-commitments were expected this recruiting cycle due to a lack of recruiting visits. The NCAA allowing this season to not count against student-athlete’s eligibility is also playing a role.
Leary has been verbally committed to the Tide since June. The Florida product chose Alabama over Florida, Auburn and others. Leary told Touchdown Alabama, he was a ‘Bama Lock’ early in his senior season.
“My commitment is pretty firm,” Leary said. “I talk to coach (Nick) Saban a lot along with coach (Holmon) Wiggins. I love the relationship we got. We are still building day by day.”
Alabama’s last 2021 de-commitment was in March when 4-Star quarterback, Drake Maye de-committed from the Tide. Nick Saban and company looked to be in good shape heading into the early signing period.
