Tim Keenan III signed his National Letter of Intent with Alabama football Wednesday.

Keenan is a product of Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He is rated as a 4-Star recruit, according to Touchdown Alabama. The Ramsay product chose Alabama over Georgia, Florida and others.
Alabama will get Keenan on campus in the summer. He will use this time to recover from a lower body injury. This injury caused Keenan to miss the Alabama state playoffs.

Before he was injured, Keenan was putting together some impressive performances, including on the night he got hurt.

The Birmingham native is looking to carry on the tradition of Birmingham defensive lineman being great at Alabama. He looks to former Alabama defensive linemen, Quinnen Williams and Daron Payne. Alabama’s starting defensive lineman, DJ Dale also has a close relationship with Keenan.

At 6-2 and 320 pounds, Keenan possesses great strength and power. In camp settings, he has shown he has some rush moves in his repertoire that easily translates to real-game action. The Alabama signee will most likely have to drop some weight, but he has the potential to be a productive interior defensive lineman the next level.
