Christian Leary kept his commitment to the Tide and signed his National Letter of Intent with Alabama football Wednesday.
Leary is a product of Edgewater High School in Edgewater, Florida. He chose Alabama over Auburn and Florida despite never taking a visit to Alabama. Leary said it was Alabama’s success at developing wide receivers that made him comfortable with committing to the Tide.

Leary’s commitment to the Tide has never wavered. He made it clear that he was sticking with Alabama throughout. In an interview with Touchdown Alabama in September, Leary said he was responding to all the teams trying to flip him the same way.
“Florida and Auburn reach out, but I do not even respond, so it is pointless,” Leary said. “I am a Bama lock.”
The Alabama signee is arguably the fastest player in the nation. He said he once ran a 4.39 in the 40-yard dash. At 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, Leary has a thick frame, which allows him to run through tackles.
His breakaway speed destroys angles in the open field.
Leary will enroll at the University of Alabama in January. He will play in the state championship game Friday against fellow Alabama signee, Dallas Turner.
