Turner is a Florida product, who is playing his senior season at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The 4-Star recruit chose Alabama over Georgia and others. Alabama’s player development played a large role in Turner choosing the Tide.
“It had a lot to do with the NFL players they have produced and how they develop their players on and off the field with all the greatness they have had there,” Turner told Touchdown Alabama. “I really take that personal.”
Alabama will get Turner on campus in January as an early enrollee.
The Tide’s coaching staff will most likely use Turner as an outside linebacker or edge rusher. He has the perfect size for the position at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds. The Alabama signee is explosive off the edge and possesses all-around athleticism.
Turner said he feels he plays with a lot of intensity.
“I am a dog on the football field,” Turner said. “I get to the ball really fast, I play with a high motor and I am a go-getter on the field.”
