On Thursday, Nick Saban provided an update on Alabama wide receiver, Jaylen Waddle.
After hearing teammates discuss how good he looked in practice on Wednesday, Saban gave his thoughts on the junior at wide receiver as he continues to push for a chance to play in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game.

“He has been able to practice some,” Saban said of Waddle. “His status for the game is relatively up in the air and will probably be a game-time decision.”
While he does not have a crystal ball, Saban has left the determining factor up to Waddle — in terms of how comfortable will be leading up to the game versus Ohio State. He has not played since Oct. 24, 2020 against Tennessee, which was the contest where he suffered a right ankle injury. Prior to the situation, he totaled 25 catches for 557 yards with four touchdowns.
Fans of the Crimson Tide would love to see him take the field next week at HardRock Stadium against the Buckeyes.
