We have gone from possibly not having a college football season to playing a full season, and enjoying the fun of it all.

This was the perfect distraction from the chaos that’s occurring in today’s society, and it will end with two premiere schools battling for the College Football Playoff National Championship.

Alabama and Ohio State have earned the opportunity and HardRock Stadium (Miami Gardens, Fla.) serves as the venue for the matchup. With so much at stake for both programs, the tandem of yours truly and Patrick Dowd of Touchdown Alabama Magazine provided final observations prior to kickoff.

The two of us took in the atmosphere of South Beach and got a feel for the fans, the scenery and how we see the game unfolding to end the season.

Alabama and Ohio State will face off at 7:00 p.m. CT via ESPN, as Nick Saban goes after his seventh national title.
