In an offseason that has already seen some turnover on the Alabama staff, it appears as if Nick Saban will need to replace another.
According to The Athletic’s Bruce Feldman, Alabama’s special team’s coordinator Jeff Banks is expected to join Steve Sarkisian’s staff at Texas.
SOURCE: Alabama special teams coordinator Jeff Banks is headed to #Texas to join Steve Sarkisian's staff as the asst. head coach/STC/tight ends coach. Banks also is a great recruiter and has strong Texas ties. Big addition for Sark.

Feldman also reports that Banks’ role will be as the assistant head coach/special teams coordinator/tight ends coach.
Banks has been on Alabama’s staff since 2018 and has been integral in recruiting especially with the latest and highly regarded 2022 class for Crimson Tide.
