Alabama fans are gearing up for spring football and next season.
After seeing its team capture a College Football Playoff National Championship, the attention has turned to the Crimson Tide’s quarterback room.
In losing Mac Jones to the upcoming NFL Draft, the tandem of Bryce Young and Paul Tyson return as scholarship signal callers. The Tide also will have an incoming freshman, Jalen Milroe, from its 2021 class ready to compete.

While the competition should be interesting, one national media outlet sees Young potentially doing big things. According to Fox Sports, one of its pundits (RJ Young) has Young listed as a Heisman sleeper for next season.

The 6-foot, 194-pounder saw action in nine games last year. He completed 13-of-22 passes for 156 yards with one touchdown.
As a native of Pasadena, Calif., Young recorded an illustrious career at Mater Dei High School.
He accounted for 13,250 passing yards, 152 scoring tosses and 178 total scores. Regarded as a five-star prospect, Young accomplished many accolades as a prep school superstar and looks to take over the collegiate game. In the moment of Jones handing him the football versus Ohio State, fans saw this as the redshirt junior passing Young the torch at quarterback.
He has to fend off Tyson and Milroe and if he can, then Bill O’Brien (Alabama’s expected offensive coordinator) will inherit a talent that hopefully he can get to work in the Southeastern Conference.
People are very intrigued by Young’s skill set and anticipate seeing much success from him.
