It loses Najee Harris to the upcoming NFL Draft, but the University of Alabama also returns someone to its running back room.
Keilan Robinson, a native of Washington, D.C., is excited to be back with the Crimson Tide. He opted out of the 2020 season — due to Coronavirus concerns — however, is ready to return to work. According to his Twitter account, Robinson shared two emojis (an elephant and smiley with a wink) that indicated he’s back with the team. As a freshman, he showcased the kind of speed that no one else had on the roster. Listed at 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, the former four-star totaled 39 carries for 254 yards and two touchdowns in eight games during the 2019 season. Both of his scores came on runs of 74 and 46 yards at Bryant-Denny Stadium.

It returns Trey Sanders, Jase McClellan, Roydell Williams and Kyle Edwards. Alabama also got a verbal commitment from five-star athlete, Camar Wheaton, out of Texas. Should he sign his national letter of intent for the Tide in February, the school would have seven backs in its rotation. According to respectable sources, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine was told that Keilan Robinson trained with a close friend throughout the 2020 campaign. He has gotten bigger, faster and stronger as a player.
Tide fans are looking forward to seeing him pick up where he left off.
