Nick Saban is prepared to assemble a staff of coaches that will get the University of Alabama back to the College Football Playoff next season and repeat as national champions.
After losing 11 assistant coaches — including on-field names such as Steve Sarkisian, Kyle Flood, Jeff Banks and Charles Huff — Saban has immediately went to work. According to respectable sources, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine was informed that Alabama has found its offensive coordinator. Bill O’Brien, former head coach of the Houston Texans, has been on the recruiting trail. For him, the Crimson Tide still needs to issue a press release — which makes the move official.
When it comes to replacing Flood at offensive line coach, two names have emerged as strong candidates.
