With the NCAA gathering information on the matter, the Alabama native wants to avoid getting hit with a show cause.

Should it happen, it would prevent him from recruiting and possibly keep him from getting another high profiled job. Prior to his situation at Tennessee, Pruitt was a successful defensive coordinator for the Crimson Tide. He won a national championship in 2017 and in three different stints at Alabama, Pruitt accomplished five national titles. As a coordinator, he coached what is arguably judged as the greatest defense in Tide history during the 2016 season.

While some fans would be open to returning Pruitt to Tuscaloosa, does Nick Saban see it as a wise move for the program? On Monday, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine discussed Pruitt, his incident with the Volunteers and how it could impact a possible return to Alabama on In My Own Words.
