On Tuesday, a lot of excitement was created on social media.
According to Daryl Holt, vice president and general manager for EA Sports, the game maker will be returning a video game for college football. Because of the ruling from the Ed O’Bannon case in 2014, seven years have passed since we had NCAA College Football 2013 with Denard Robinson of Michigan on the cover.
A specific date or time has not been announced for the game’s return; however, EA Sports has been working on it. It will not longer be licensed by the National Collegiate Athletic Association, but EA Sports has partnered with the Collegiate Licensing Company.
With all the commotion, fans are interested in seeing who will grace the cover of the new game?
One Alabama fan posted a photo of DeVonta Smith on the cover, and Twitter went wild.
On Wednesday, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine discussed the return of a college football video game via In My Own Words.
What new features could the game have?
Will EA Sports put Smith on the cover?
Both questions will be answered soon enough.
