Jake Pope, one of Alabama football’s 2022 defensive back targets, visited Tuscaloosa over the weekend.
The Tide offered Pope on Jan. 20. Since Alabama offered him, Ohio State, Michigan, Auburn and Georgia have offered the Buford, Georgia product. Pope said he and his family are attempting to get out to see a couple of different campuses on their own with the NCAA dead period in place, which bans all in-person contact with prospects and D1 coaches.
