We are in the season of mock drafts.

With the NFL Draft in April, all experts, analysts, and talent evaluators are crafting opinions on where each player will go.

According to Pro Football Focus, it released its top-10 picks of the first round. Three players represent the University of Alabama, as DeVonta Smith, Jaylen Waddle, and Mac Jones were named. PFF projects a trade between the Atlanta Falcons and Miami Dolphins. The website has the Dolphins taking Smith at No. 4, Waddle at No. 6 to the Philadelphia Eagles, and Jones at No. 8 to the Carolina Panthers. The Crimson Tide is expected to get between five to six players in the first round of the draft.

Smith won the Heisman Trophy and Biletnikoff Award last season. Jones won the Davey O’Brien Award and was a Heisman finalist. Smith and Jones both finished the 2020 season as All-Americans. After Smith and Ja’Marr Chase (LSU), Waddle is the most explosive wide receiver in the draft class. He totaled 106 catches for 1,999 yards and 19 touchdowns in three seasons.
