Alabama’s coaching staff is happy to have Keilan Robinson back on its roster.

He opted out of the 2020 season, but the Coronavirus pandemic did not stop him from working. Robinson, a native of Washington, D.C., teamed up with a friend and transformed his body.

Before he got serious about looking like a Southeastern Conference running back, the former four-star was known for his elite speed.

He recorded two rushing touchdowns as a true freshman, both of which were longer than 20 yards. Nick Saban heralded him as the one with ‘juice’ at the position; however, Robinson wants to be more than juice.

Despite being listed at 5-foot-9 and 190 pounds, the photos of Robinson that appeared on social media after the season showed an individual who has added a lot of muscle. He looks like a player that can average 10 to 15 carries a game in this conference.

According to respectable sources, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine has learned that Robinson is one of the highlights of the Crimson Tide’s Fourth Quarter Program. The coaching staff has been impressed with the work he has put in, and Robinson will not be kept off the field next season.

Brian Robinson carries power at running back, but Keilan’s brand of power and speed gives the Tide a strong one, two punch.

Also, his emergence allows the team to slowly work Trey Sanders back in the rotation. Bill O’Brien, Alabama’s offensive coordinator, wants to start creating balance in spring football. The Tide has not had two 1,000-yard rushers since Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon in 2012.

Brian Robinson will be the No. 1, but Keilan’s effort is not being ignored. He is expecting to have a dominant spring and parlay it into having a good campaign in the fall.
