Nick Saban is trying to repeat as a national champion for the first time since 2011-12.

He is losing great players to the upcoming NFL Draft, but he signed his best freshmen class ever and has veterans returning. After not having spring practice in 2020, the Crimson Tide and its fans will have an uninterrupted offseason to evaluate the team. Despite the talent it has, Alabama has some questions to answer on offense and defense. As he hunts for the eighth national title of his coaching tenure, Saban is prepared to locate the best athletes on the field and put them in a position to have success.

With the Fourth Quarter Program still going, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine lays out five important questions that the Tide must start answering at spring practice.

1. Who wins the starting quarterback job?

If fans have to pay to attend the A-Day game at Bryant-Denny Stadium, watching the quarterback competition between Bryce Young, Paul Tyson, and Jalen Milroe is worth it.

This is the most highly anticipated race since Jalen Hurts/Tua Tagovailoa in 2017, and Young is the favorite to win.
