Najee Harris is the ultimate teammate.
He came to the University of Alabama in 2017 to prove that west coast natives can have success in the Southeastern Conference, but now he’s in Tuscaloosa for a bigger purpose. Harris is not participating in the Crimson Tide’s Pro Day; however, the brotherhood to be with his guys has him on campus. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Harris’ flight from Dallas to Birmingham was canceled on Monday night due to lightning.
In showing the spirit of Alabama football, the former five-star drove nine hours to make pro day this morning at 10 a.m.
Alabama RB Najee Harris’ flight from Dallas to Birmingham was cancelled last night due to lightning, so with no other travel options available, Harris drove nine hours to make it to Alabama’s Pro Day by 10 am today. He’s not even working out today but wanted to support teammates.

The bond he created with the team last year led to the Tide winning a Southeastern Conference title and a College Football Playoff National Championship. Harris finished the 2020 campaign with 1,466 yards rushing, 425 yards receiving, and 30 total touchdowns. He projects as a first-rounder in the upcoming NFL Draft, but Harris is making this moment about his teammates.
