Nick Saban has increased his grip on recruiting in college football.
He led the University of Alabama to tie the 2004 Miami Hurricanes on Thursday night for having the most first-round picks (six) in the common draft era. On Friday, he placed two athletes — Landon Dickerson and Christian Barmore — in the second round.

In him putting eight players in the first two rounds, Saban caused the Crimson Tide to have the most players taken in the first two rounds of a single event since the 1967 AFL/NFL Draft.
He also set a record in having multiple wide receivers taken in the first round in consecutive drafts. The recruiting coordinators and graphic designers at UA are having fun with the NFL Draft.
Eight players from @AlabamaFTBL have already been selected in the 2021 @NFL Draft, the most by any school in the first two rounds of a single Draft since 1967.
