Thomas Fletcher is the 10th Alabama player selected in the NFL Draft.
The native Texan was taken at No. 222 overall in the sixth round by the Carolina Panthers.
He was a successful long snapper in four seasons with the Crimson Tide, executing perfection on every snap. He served JK Scott, who was an All-American punter, and an elite placekicker (Will Reichard) during his tenure. Fletcher helped Reichard make all 14 of his field goals and all 84 of his PAT attempts in 2020. He won the Patrick Mannelly Award, which is presented to college football’s top long snapper.
Fletcher was a two-time national champion at Alabama, and now he is a Panther.
