Shemar James announced Alabama and Florida were his top two schools Sunday via Twitter.
James is a product of Faith Academy in Mobile, Alabama. He is rated as a 4-Star prospect on most recruiting sites and has held an Alabama offer for several months. The Mobile native told Touchdown Alabama he has continued to build a relationship with Alabama’s staff after visiting Alabama on A-Day.
“My relationship with coach Sal (Sunseri) and coach Pete (Golding) has really improved since they offered me,” James said.

Alabama will get James back on campus on June 4 for an official visit. He wants to make a decision before his senior season.
