Last week, Alabama football pulled in the most coveted linebacker from the NCAA transfer portal.
It landed Henry To’oto’o from the University of Tennessee, and Crimson Tide fans are excited.
He was a four-star prospect in the 2019 recruiting cycle, and Nick Saban wanted him as a freshman.
To’oto’o joins the Tide as someone with 23 games under his belt in the Southeastern Conference.
He was one of the most productive athletes in each of the last two seasons; however, he is on a roster that has talent at inside linebacker.
Alabama returns Christian Harris, Jaylen Moody, and Shane Lee to the position.

Harris has played in 26 career games (25 starts), while Lee started all 13 games at middle linebacker as a freshman.
Moody filled in admirably for an injured Harris in 2020 versus Arkansas. He performed well and had a great spring.
How well will To’oto’o be able to mesh with this group? This is the question for Saban and the Crimson Tide.
Alabama could find a way to use all four players, but it is possible to see one transfer. On Monday, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine discussed To’oto’o via In My Own Words.
Saban has the linebacker he wants, and Tide fans want it to work.
