Alabama’s defense is going to be crazy this season.

William Anderson and Christopher Allen will be dropping quarterbacks, and Christian Harris is orchestrating everything.

Pro Football Focus has been providing a lot of fuel to the Crimson Tide’s fire. The website omitted Anderson and Allen from its top-five edge rushers for college football. It would also leave off Harris from its top-five returning linebackers for the sport.

Harris, a junior, was a breakthrough player in the Southeastern Conference in 2020.

He collected 79 tackles (seven for loss), 4.5 sacks, six quarterback pressures, two pass breakups, and one interception. Through 26 games, the Baton Rouge (La.) native has 142 tackles (14.5 for loss), 4.5 sacks, 11 quarterback pressures, three breakups, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

Harris was snubbed from an All-SEC team to end last year, so PFF has the former four-star more fired up. He quote tweeted the list to his Twitter page as motivation for him.

The 6-foot-2, 232-pounder will be all business in the fall for the Tide.
