Alabama analyst Tino Sunseri is set to become the quarterbacks coach for James Madison University. Sunseri made the announcement on his social media that he would accept the job and the school confirmed the announcement shortly following.
I would like to thank Coach Saban for allowing me to be apart of the Alabama Family for the past two years. Truly has been an unbelievable ride. I will forever be thankful.

“I’m so excited, I feel blessed,” Sunseri said in his statement. “I’m thankful to Coach Cignetti for allowing me the opportunity to run the quarterback room. I know there’s a great standard of excellence here with a program that’s used to winning and has a tradition of winning. I can’t wait to be able to help them accomplish their goals and dreams and develop young men on and off the field.”
Sunseri has been working on Nick Saban’s staff for the past two years as an offensive analyst primarily working with the team’s quarterbacks. He had also spent his tenure at Alabama working alongside his father Sal Sunseri who is the team’s outside linebackers coach.
Although he will be departing Tuscaloosa, Sunseri will be staying in the Alabama family as the Dukes head coach Curt Cignetti is a former Alabama wide receivers coach.
