The kickoff time and television network for Alabama’s home opener of the 2021 season have been announced as the Crimson Tide will face off against Mercer inside Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 11, at 3 p.m. CT on the SEC Network.
Alabama and Mercer will meet for the fourth time in the all-time series, with the Crimson Tide winning each of their three appointments. In its last meeting, Alabama defeated Mercer 56-0 on Nov. 18, 2017 at home. The shutout marked the first time the two teams had met since 1940.

The first three weeks of Alabama’s 2021 schedule are now set with times and TV channels announced.
Sept. 4: vs. Miami (Atlanta), @2:30 p.m. CT on ABC
Sept. 11: vs. Mercer, @ 3 p.m. CT on SEC Network
Sept. 18 at Florida, @ 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS
