The two newest members of Alabama football (via transfer portal) have their jersey numbers.
Today, the Crimson Tide had a photoshoot for the players before 7-on-7 drills. Henry To’oto’o will wear No. 10, while Jameson Williams will wear No. 1 this season. To’oto’o came to the Tide from Tennessee, and Williams transferred in from Ohio State.

To’oto’o, a junior, played in 23 career games (22 starts) for the Volunteers. The 6-foot-2, 225-pounder totaled 148 tackles, 15 tackles for loss, five quarterback hurries, four pass breakups, and one interception. He led Tennessee in tackles (76) and tackles for loss (10) in 2020. To’oto’o made the SEC All-Freshman team and Freshman All-American team in 2019. He was a preseason candidate for Dick Butkus, Chuck Bednarik, and Bronko Nagurski awards in 2020. Reuben Foster was the last inside linebacker to wear No. 10 at Alabama. In 2016, Foster captained what was arguably the best defense in the history of Crimson Tide football.
Foster’s intensity allowed the defense to surrender 13 points per game while creating 54 sacks and forcing 24 turnovers.
To’oto’o now carries the mantle of No. 10, and Tide fans are looking forward to what he does.

Williams, a junior, played in 22 career games for the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-2, 189-pounder is a very talented wide receiver.
He collected 15 passes for 266 yards receiving with three touchdowns at Ohio State. Last season, he had nine catches for 154 yards and two scores — including a 45-yard touchdown versus Clemson in the Sugar Bowl for the College Football Playoff semifinal.

Williams has looked very impressive in 7-on-7 workouts and will see much playing time.
Robert Foster was the last receiver to don No. 1 (2015) at Alabama, but Williams is ready to make it happen.
