Alabama football may have its No. 2 wide receiver behind John Metchie.
According to respectable sources, Jameson Williams has been impressing everyone.
In 7-on-7’s, the transfer from Ohio State looks fast, quick, and smooth on the field. Barring injury, he will either start or get a lot of playing time. He played in 22 career games for the Buckeyes and totaled 15 catches for 266 yards with three touchdowns.
Last season, Williams recorded nine receptions for 154 yards and two scores. He was responsible for 62 yards receiving on three catches, including a 45-yard touchdown in the Sugar Bowl (College Football Playoff semifinal) versus Clemson in a 49-28 victory for the Buckeyes.

He anticipates helping Bryce Young win a national championship as Alabama’s starting quarterback.
