Alabama added a new face to its team on Saturday as former Georgia State defensive back Brylan Lanier announced he will be transferring the the Crimson Tide. The 6’1 cornerback has already enrolled at the university and will walk on to the Crimson Tide.
Lanier made his intentions known with a video he shared online earlier today.

Lanier is the younger brother of former Alabama wide receiver Joshua Lanier who recently transfered to Jacksonville State.
On Friday, Lanier shared a photo of former Alabama wide receiver DeVonta Smith teasing the decision he made public today.
Lanier returns home to Tuscaloosa as he played his high school football at Paul W. Bryant High School.
The former Panther turned member of the Crimson Tide, enrolled at Georgia State back in early June but quickly entered the transfer portal near the end of the month.
