In a year filled with chaos, Alabama Athletics showed dominance.
We all dealt with the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, but the great ones work around it.

The University of Alabama was consistent in winning championships as football, men’s basketball, gymnastics, and softball all captured a Southeastern Conference Championship.
Nick Saban coached the football team to an undefeated national title, Nate Oats took men’s basketball to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, Dana Duckworth guided gymnastics to being fifth in the nation, and Patrick Murphy assisted softball to the semifinals of the Women’s College World Series.
Baseball also turned in a productive year, reaching the NCAA Regionals. Alabama also had the Heisman Trophy winner in DeVonta Smith for football.
According to CBS Sports, the Crimson Tide won the site’s “Best in College Sports” honor for 2020-21.

Alabama amassed 583.75 points to top the field. It finished over Oklahoma (473.75 points) and Iowa (463.25 points).
The Tide showed it was head and shoulders above the rest last year. This season, Alabama prepared for more in all areas.
