Las Vegas Raiders have the Alabama backfield with adding Bo Scarbrough

Jon Gruden and Mike Mayok dance to the beat of their own drum.

The Las Vegas Raiders are the “wild child” of the National Football League. One can remove the silver and black from Oakland (Calif.), but it cannot remove the personality of the franchise.

Nick Saban has elevated Alabama football to being the 33rd program in the National Football League. Ninety percent of the league has at least one player from the Crimson Tide.

Teams such as the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Football Team, New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, and Philadelphia Eagles have multiple stars from Alabama. Coach Gruden does not like being left out of anything. He drafted Josh Jacobs and Henry Ruggs III, but he did not stop there.

Gruden signed Lester Cotton as an undrafted free agent and took Alex Leatherwood with a first-round flyer. The Raiders have also signed Kenyan Drake and B.J. Emmons, who came to the Tide in its 2016 class.

On Friday, Gruden continued his Alabama haul in adding Bo Scarbrough.

He was with the Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks (twice), and Detriot Lions, but Gruden loves Alabama players.

Scarbrough, a Tuscaloosa native, joins a dynamic backfield. He was on a national championship team with Drake in 2015 and played on another title squad with Jacobs in 2017. Scarbrough is back in the NFL, and he looks to remain in the pros.
