Alabama has its first scrimmage of fall camp, and Nick Saban looks forward to seeing his players execute. With a new team, Saban’s goal is to see where these guys are to the ultimate goal. The Tide is pursuing its 19th national championship in school history and seventh of the Saban era.

Saban, who enters his 15th season as head coach, is chasing his eighth national title. During Friday’s segment of In My Own Words, yours truly of Touchdown Alabama Magazine had four questions heading into the game-like practice.

Questions for Tide entering its first scrimmage

1. Paul Tyson or Jalen Milroe: Who earns the No. 2 quarterback spot?

2. Jalyn Armour-Davis: Can he hold off Kool-Aid McKinstry and start at cornerback?

3. Jaylen Moody: Will the senior be able to make up ground on Henry To’oto’o and start at middle linebacker?

4. Wide Receiver Room: Will a true freshman have multiple roles on the team?
