Derrick Henry and Julio Jones did not play in Friday’s NFL Preseason matchup for the Tennessee Titans against the Atlanta Falcons; however, one former Alabama player had a special debut.
Miller Forristall has endured a lot, but his faith kept him going. He suffered injuries during his career with the Crimson Tide; nevertheless, the native Georgian had toughness. As a tight end, Forristall totaled 44 receptions for 505 yards with five touchdowns in his tenure. His best seasons came in 2019 and 2020, recording 38 catches for 420 yards and five scores.

He was not selected through seven rounds of the NFL Draft, but the Titans signed him as an undrafted free agent.
Forristall went to work at rookie minicamp and mandatory minicamp. He’s performed well in training camp and got his moment against the Falcons. Forristall caught a 12-yard touchdown from Matt Barkley on a wheel route at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

His teammates ran to celebrate with him as his score came in the fourth quarter. Forristall’s first-ever touchdown at MBS happened in 2019 at Alabama. He was on the receiving end of a 27-yard catch and score from Tua Tagovailoa against Duke.
Forristall collected three catches for 20 yards on Friday, but his score pushed Tennessee to a 23-3 victory.
Crimson Tide fans are proud to see him having success.
