After Tuesday’s practice, he spoke to reporters in a press conference. The native Texan sported a cutoff Alabama football t-shirt to the event. He remembers the time spent in the Fourth Quarter Program and being around Nick Saban. During his lone season at Oklahoma (2019) and now in the National Football League, Hurts sounds a lot like the seven-time national champion in pressers.

He was a two-time Southeastern Conference Champion and a College Football Playoff National Champion. In attending an institution whose slogan is “The Process,” Hurts has been processed. He is focused on taking the Eagles to new heights as an offense and a team. Training camp has been good for him, especially with Philadelphia taking DeVonta Smith in the NFL Draft.

Hurts has created his own slogan, “Rent is Due.” He is a constant grinder, and his teammates have bought into it.

People have doubted since he entered the league. Hurts is more than excited to put the critics to rest.
