Alabama’s 2021 enrollees that will have an opportunity to play versus Miami

Alabama’s 2021 recruiting class was dubbed the best for Nick Saban.

The class had eight five-stars, including a massive haul of offensive linemen. Each player knows it must earn a name on the field; however, Monday’s week one depth chart unveiled something nice. Several players from the class may have an opportunity to play against Miami in some capacity. JC Latham is behind Kendall Randolph at right tackle on the offensive line. He should see moments in the rotation throughout the game. According to Emil Ekiyor, Latham’s ceiling is ‘unbelievable’ as a lineman.

JoJo Earle was not an early enrollee, but he was the most impressive during preseason camp.

He won the starting job as a punt returner and will see action in the slot versus the Hurricanes.

Agiye Hall is second behind John Metchie as the “X” wide receiver. He jumped out in the spring and has the potential to be a special player. After posting four catches for 72 yards on A-Day, we will see how he looks behind Metchie.

In the secondary, Kool-Aid McKinstry and Khyree Jackson are in a position to be substitutions for Josh Jobe and Jalyn Armour-Davis at cornerback. We could see Jalen Milroe at quarterback if Alabama handled Miami with ease in the first half.

Other freshmen that may see action vs. Miami per depth chart

-Deontae Lawson, LB

-Dallas Turner, LB

-Jaeden Roberts, OL

-Terrence Ferguson II, OL

It will be fun to see how many freshmen/enrollees we’ll see versus the Hurricanes.
