For what could be his final in game reps for some time, New England Patriots quarterback Mac Jones was locked in on Sunday against the New York Giants.

In the teams 22-20 win, Jones completed 10/14 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown in his most impressive outing to date.

Following his scoring drive everybody was in a rush to congratulate the rookie quarterback, but Jones accidentally ghosted one of his major supporters in the process.

While walking to the bench Jones was unaware of Patriots starting quarterback Cam Newton hunting him down for a high-five and the result was a hilarious video that went viral.

Newton shouldn’t be discouraged by the slip up from Jones, as a similar situation occurred with another popular Patriots quarterback.
