Battle is the second member of the Crimson Tide to sign a deal with The Volume, as quarterback Bryce Young inked a deal early Wednesday morning giving him his very own podcast with the emerging network.
Battle will also be joining six other athletes who will be making appearances on The Jboy show. This includes Auburn’s Bo Nix, Texas A&M’s Jalen Wydermeyer, Missouri’s Connor Bazelak, LSU’s Todd Harris and Georgia’s Kearis Jackson and Jamaree Salyer.
Each player will join the show for a 15-20 minute segment once a week to discuss their previous and upcoming games along with life as a college football player.
“We’re very excited to bring student-athletes from different universities around the SEC to provide prospective to fans they won’t be able to get anywhere else,” Crain told Forbes. “We want to be able to provide our audience with the human element of playing in the nation’s top college football conference from the league’s top play-makers.”
