Alabama and Southern Miss are scheduled for a 6:30 p.m. CT kickoff on the SEC Network for their Saturday, Sept. 25 matchup at Bryant-Denny Stadium, the Southeastern Conference office announced on Monday morning.
The matchup will be the 45th meeting in the all-time series, dating back to 1947. Alabama owns the series advantage, 37-5-2, with all meetings happening in Tuscaloosa. The two teams last met on Sept. 21, 2019, as UA came away with a 49-7 triumph.
The Crimson Tide are coming off of a 48-14 victory over the Mercer Bears in its home opener in Bryant-Denny Stadium last week.
Before it meets the Golden Eagles, Alabama will be traveling to Florida for its first road matchup of the season. The Gators and Crimson Tide will kickoff at 2:30 pm CT on CBS while Southern Miss will host Troy at 6 pm CT on ESPN+.
