There are few certainties in life.
Water is wet, the sun is hot and Nick Saban making “deez nuts” jokes.
Although Saban hasn’t tested his material on the media yet, Alabama defensive back Jordan Battle gave a glimpse at the jokes the seven time national champion tests in practice. When asked about a Saban coaching quip, Battle overshared just a bit in one of the funniest moments a player has had during media availability.
Nick Saban’s favorite saying is “Suck on deez.”

“He has so many, but there are a few I like,” Battle said. “He’s always talking about ‘touch deez’ or, you know, ‘suck on deez’ all that.”
Saban’s history of playground humor has dated all the way back to 2019 when former Alabama running back Josh Jacobs originally shared the coach’s preferred humor during an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show.
The media will likely never have the pleasure of speaking to Battle at the podium again, but he sure did go out with a bang.
