Alabama football’s coaching staff is showing a lot of interest in 2023 five-star running back, Rueben Owens at the moment.
Owens is a product of EL Campo High School in Texas. He garners a five-star rating from most recruiting sites and holds more than 30 D1 offers. The Crimson Tide offered Owens in April and got him on campus for an unofficial visit in early June.
The five-star recruit described his first visit to Tuscaloosa as a ‘great experience.’ Alabama’s staff started to make moves to strengthen its relationship with the Texas product on Sept. 1, which was the first day Tide coaches were able to initiate contact with Owens and other 2023 prospects.
