On Tuesday, the Alabama football team welcomed the Mayor Randall Woodfin, into its facilities as a guest speaker for the team.
The 30th mayor of Birmingham, AL, gave a message to the team on resilience and gratitude in life as he shared the news on his Twitter account.
It was truly a honor to speak with the @alabamaftbl team.

“You’re never to young to be a leader — to be a champion,” Woodfin wrote in a social media post. “Be grateful and make the most of your opportunity. That’s what coach Saban expects from each one of you that walks through those doors.”

A constant message Saban has given the Crimson Tide up to this point in the season is to honor and respect winning. So far the team has done so, as it heads into its Week 4 matchup against Southern Miss this Saturday a perfect 3-0.
