Alabama wasted no time getting on the scoreboard against Southern Miss, as wide receiver Jameson Williams took back the opening kick 100-yards for a touchdown.

It’s the first touchdown return for Williams on special teams this season and the second special teams score.
Williams would later take an 81 yard reception to the endzone for his second long score of the game.
Head coach Nick Saban had said earlier this week that Alabama needed to find a way to create more explosive plays and it looks like Williams has taken those comments to heart.
Alabama currently leads Southern Miss 42-7 as the second half of action begins.
