Alabama running back Jase McClellan left Saturday’s game against Ole Miss with a knee injury suffered early on in the game. He would eventually return to the field in street clothes and crutches.
Head coach Nick Saban gave an update during his postgame press conference on the sophomore running back and the news isn’t ideal.
“Jase has a knee injury,” Saban said to the media. “The initial report on it is not good, but until we do an MRI, we don’t know for sure. But I think he’s probably gonna be out for a while.”
Before leaving the game McClellan had six carries for 28 yards along with an 11-yard reception against the Rebels defense.
