Following Alabama’s dominant 42-21 win over Ole Miss, the Crimson Tide were unsurprisingly able to hold onto the top spot in the Associated Press college football rankings.
It is the fifth week in a row Alabama has been seated at the No. 1 spot in the rankings and obtained 53 first-place votes. Coming in at the No. 2 spot once again was Georgia garnering a total of 9 first-place votes as well.
The South Eastern Conference had a total of seven teams ranked inside the top 25 rankings which is the most out of any conference. The Big Ten had the second-most teams inside the top 25 with five teams representing the conference.
