Henry To’oto’o is starting to settle in with the Crimson Tide.
Three weeks ago, the Florida Gators targeted him with its ground game. He was out of position, missed several tackles, and appeared confused by Florida’s option attack. Alabama gave up 245 yards and four touchdowns. Despite winning the matchup, Crimson Tide fans were not pleased with the outing.
To’oto’o made sure to communicate better and be lined up to attack plays.

The talented linebacker performed better versus Mississippi last week at Bryant-Denny Stadium. He made a huge tackle on an option look that had the crowd screaming. To’oto’o finished with 10 tackles (three solos), one tackle for loss, and one quarterback hurry.
He improved his run fits as the Rebels were held to 78 yards rushing on 34 carries. The transfer from Tennessee also affected Matt Corral in the pocket. His communication led to Alabama having seven quarterback hurries and two sacks.
Before the game, national media felt Lane Kiffin would shred the Tide’s defense. It was not the case with To’oto’o. Alabama pitched a shutout at halftime, and the matchup was never close.
Regardless of the 42-21 score, the Crimson Tide had its way with Ole Miss from start to finish. The Polynesian Football Hall of Fame chose To’oto’o as its spotlight player for his efforts.
