Khurtiss Perry released his top five schools Friday and included Alabama football.
Auburn, UCF, Clemson and Texas were included in Perry’s top five. Perry currently attends Pike Road High School in Pike Road, Alabama and is rated as a four-star recruit, according to most recruiting outlets. Alabama was able to get the four-star recruit on campus earlier this month when they took on the Ole Miss Rebels.
“It was great to have a chance to get back to Alabama,” Perry said. “It has been a minute since I got there. It sort of felt like the first time. It just felt like a family again. It was a great feeling.”
The next step in Perry’s recruitment could be a commitment. He currently has a commitment time frame that points to a decision coming in December.
“My plan is to commit right after the championship game,” Perry told Touchdown Alabama. “Any time the season is over with, that is when I am going to commit.”
The Alabama target transferred to Pike Road High School during the off-season and is making big plays for the Patriots this season. Perry looks noticeably quicker, which is something Nick Saban pointed out during his most recent visit to Tuscaloosa.

It looks as if the Crimson Tide will have to hold off a pair of Tigers, the Longhorns and the Knights to get Perry to Tuscaloosa.
